Connecting Classroom to Careers

Partnering with the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education, NEXTDC offers year-round and summer internships that connect students to the travel and tourism industry to build their professional skills and expand professional networks.

Since 2015, NEXTDC has hosted over 175 interns through the Career Ready and Advanced Internship Programs here in Washington, DC. And helped hundreds more secure internships with employers across the city!

Invest in Students This Summer!

NEXTDC is hosting 15 high school interns this summer; these Academy of Hospitality and Tourism and Mass Media students will be learning about our industry, networking with leaders, and building their skills.

We need YOUR HELP to bring lessons they have learned in the classroom to life. Whether it is a behind-the-scenes tour of your facilities or coming to our offices to judge presentations, there's something for everyone.
